Audi Brussels launches an Accompanying Trans* Staff policy

On this International Transgender Day of Visibility, we are proud to launch our internal policy together with Austen Lowe (Diversity Consultant) and Jeroen Tondeleir (HR Manager). At Audi Brussels, we choose to actively support colleagues to ensure they are included, regardless of who they are.

Therefore, we recently developed and launched a holistic process which covers all necessary administration, potential modification of changing facilities and toilets and also communication aspects. The process helps our trans* colleagues, HR, managers and their team throughout. Every person is different and the internal policy puts the individual at the centre. When people are scared to be themselves, they are not able to fulfil their potential and bring themselves to the job. A trans* identity does not have any impact on professional competence and should pose no obstacle to a future development and career.

It is not about special privileges or extra rights. It is about human rights.

Thank you to all colleagues who made this possible.
